In this photo essay, textile designer Emilee Koss highlights the annual silkworm festival fashion show in Siem Reap, Cambodia. This event was created by Kikuo Morimoto (1948-2017), the Japanese founder of the weaving cooperative “Institute of Khmer Traditional Textiles”, drawing on traditional Buddhist rituals as well as adapting them to showcase the textiles.
